Anyinginyi is a multi-disciplinary organisation which provides primary health care services to the people of Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly region.
Anyinginyi consists of six different sections which allows us to have an holistic approach to health ensuring that our clients physical and emotional health and wellbeing is given the utmost prriority.
Our Health Service Delivery Area stretches north of Tennant Creek to Elliott, across to the East almost to the QLD border and south to Ali Curung, almost 150,000 square kms.
ANYINGINYI was created in 1984, our constitution then and now focused on our central objective to relieve the poverty, sickness, helplessness, serious social and economic disadvantage and social distress that affects the Aboriginal population through various community based strategies and programs.
Anyinginyi is a Community Controlled Aboriginal Health Organisation which is governed by a Board of Directors that are voted in by members of the organisation. The Board of Directors provide strategic direction for the Leadership Team and give a voice to all resident in the Barkly region to ensure the highest quality of primary health care is provided. Anyinginyi's day to day operations are managed by a Leadership Team with many varying qualifications and experiences.
